Description:

I worked as the Executive Producer (and crew member) with Apairus Company on this film. My son, Devon Dresback, directed it. This was a seven week challenge. Great to work with wonderful people including very talented Director of Photography - Bret Kalmbach and also Jerrod Saba who made magic happen in the editing process. There were 17 teams that made the deadline and were screened.

Bill Pierce, film critic from the Examiner.com had this to say about Come Follow Me:

These are the moments that fill me with inspiration and excitement. When my sitzfleisch is rewarded by experiencing a film such as "Come Follow Me." Youthful director Devon Dresbek presents a stunning visual poem, as a mining town schoolteacher finds her young charges losing interest in her lesson. She takes the class outside and beneath a tree, gently coaxes them to embrace life, abandon fear and seize the day. Stage actress Nathalie Cadieux is completely captivating in her first screen performance as the German schoolteacher. This is the rare gem that seamlessly combines every element of filmmaking: story, sound, lighting, acting and, above all, the dreamy simplicity that makes a film unforgettable. A superb production from the Apairus Company in Mesa, exploding on the screen in brilliance and illumination.
Final Take – Lead the way.
