Synopsis:
Middle-aged rocker Todd (Mark DeBoer) and his bands tour schedule brings them to a small town bar that holds more than a simple musical performance. Brandiss (Machelle Glassburn), the seemingly self-assured bartender, is urged on by over-indulgent but faithful bar patron, Les (Jim Coates) to not miss out on the opportunity for a new life.
Description:
I wrote, directed and worked with Apairus Company on this film. This was for the 2012 IFP Masterpiece Challenge (for which you had to be selected to particapte). It was a seven week competition. Great to work once again closely with incredibly talented Director of Photography - Bret Kalmbach and also Jerrod Saba who produced and edited. There were 9 teams that made the deadline and were screened at the Phoenix Art Museum in January 2012.
