Description: This short film was created for the A3F 10 Day Film Challenge in October 2026. The competition allowed any genre, but required a “musical moment.” I immediately invited composer Mark Greenawalt back onto our team. (He did the music on our previous award-winning musical short, Wish Inc.) I kept this story light-hearted while still making the point that getting out of our comfortable routine can change our life trajectory. We brought together a talented, enthusiastic cast and crew to tell this fun story. Thirty-seven teams took on the challenge.
Synopsis: Kerry eats the same boring breakfast five days a week at the same cafe, at the same table. When her all-knowing server forces her out of her routine, new possibilities begin to appear in Kerry’s life.
